I am a single mother of one son, now 25 yrs old, but still my reason for living. I have been a licensed managing cosmetologist for several years, having my own salon for 18 years, but I have not worked in the business for quite awhile now.I am now the full time caregiver for my 85 yr. old mother, and am finding this job the most difficult of all of the past responsibilites I have had in my life. But, I feel blessed to still have my mother, and, as anyone who has dealt with an aging parent knows,this is so very sad and heartbreaking at times, but it also is a labor of love and I will see it to the finish. I love to play cards, gamble, play scrabble, watch movies, do gardening,& sell on e-bay. I love Las Vegas, and until recently traveled there a few times every year. I am new to myspace and the internet and am having fun stumbling through, and learning more every day. I joined myspace not to find romance, but to possibly find out what all the fuss is about ? I have found it interesting to say the least. If I make some friends that will be okay, if not, nothing lost but some time, which I seem to have alot of lately. My best friend is my dog Lucy, pictured on my myspace. She is a 7 yr old mix, springer and cocker spaniel. She has been the best dog I have ever shared my life with,and I view her as a gift from God. {Even if she was a gift from my exhusband}.We have a new addition..his name is Rufus, he was born Sept.'08,and he has brought much joy to Lucy and also to me.
