About Me

Kendra=magical water baby. I'm on my way to England, I just haven't left my house yet. I strive for personal success. I believe that everything happens for a reason; everything you endure and every person that you meet either teaches or is taught. I believe that greatness isn't where you work, what car you drive, how much money you have, or where you have been...It is how you contribute to the world and what you contribute. I am ahead of my past and content with the fact that my past is only a memory and that I control which memories I choose to re-live. I have my own views on spirituality, love, friendship, justice, science, philosophy, mother earth and family...most of the time they sound like a novel but I assure you they are no less real. I believe that there is someone special out there for me; I am not looking for that person here or now. Friendship should always come before love otherwise you are playing with the hot fires of lust which only burn you in the end. I am passionate about nature and if I had my choice I would spend all of my time in the woods or on the beach sword fighting, riding horses, building forts and houses and growing my own herbs and vegetables. I dont drink or do drugs, its a personal choice. Im not a "party girl" although I do like to go out and have fun. Most nights I would rather sit inside with a good book, calligraphy or my journal with a cup of herbal tea pondering life, love, meaning, spirituality, and daydreaming that Im somewhere else. My mom is my best friend. I have some amazing friends, most of which I have not been able to meet yet but I love you all. Although you can never conclude the self; in conclusion...I am honest, loving, passionate, caring, loud, impatient, shy, scared, adventurous, calm, violent, and opinionated. I am the calm before the waves crash in.Likes: The smell of books. Tea. Organic Food. Vanilla Chi Tea The Rain. Sprout/Cilantro Bagels. Pastries. Kissing. Art. History. Archeology. Piercings. To call the stars and (darling) never fear; love when such marvels vanish, will include-there by arriving magically here-and everywhere which you and I've agreed and we've (with one last more than a kiss) to call most amazing musical of all."-E.E. "Love is giving someone the ability to destroy you, but trusting them enough not to"
"To fear love is to fear life, and those who fear life are already three parts dead"- Bertrand Russel
"If there were in the world today any large number of people who desired their own happiness more than they desired the unhappiness of others, we could have paradise in a few years."-Bertrand Russel
"Human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives"-William James
"I would rather have a mind open by wonder than closed by belief."-Gerry Spense
"An education isn't how much you have committed to memory, or even how much you know. It's being able to differentiate between what you do know and what you dont." -Anatole France
"My definition of a free society is a society where it is sage to be unpopular."-Adlai Stevenson Jr.
"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."-Ben Franklin
"Each of us finds that in our own life every moment of time is completely filled. We are bombarded every second by sensations, emotions, thoughts...nine tenths of which we must simply ignore. The past is a roaring cataract of billions upon billions of such moments: any one of them too complex to grasp in its entirety, and the aggregate beyond all imaginations...at every tick of the clock, in every inhabited part of the world, and in imaginable richness and variety of 'history' falls off the world into total oblivion."-C.S. Lewis
"I think you know what I can promise you-sensations you are only dimly aware of-ecstasy, mounting, growing, swelling, bursting-endless and no satiety, no end until you know the crucifixion of love, and scream for the cross, and help drive the nails while every nerve, every white writhing nerve, joins the demonic and whips itself to rage of exulting and raging passion. You lick your lips. You think you know. What you know is only a whisper beside the pandemonium I promise you"-Lady of North Galys to Lancelot-The Acts of King Arthur (LUST)
"We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order"-David Rockefeller
"The high office of President has been used to foment a plot to destroy American's freedom, and before I leave office I must inform the citizens of this plight"-John F. Kennedy (10 days prior to assassination)
"Education is designed, not to give true knowledge but to make the people pliable to the will of their masters."-Bertrand Russel
"So long as men continue to have present fanatical beliefs in the importance of politics, free thought on political matters will be impossible, and there is only too much danger that the lack of freedom will spread to all other matters."-Bertrand Russel
"It is not desired that ordinary people should think for themselves because it is felt that the people who think for themselves are awkward to manage and cause administrative difficulties."-Bertrand Russel
"Our system of education turns young people out of schools able to read, but for the most part unable to weigh evidence or to form an independent opinion."-Bertrand Russel
"Material possessions can be taken by force and enjoyed by the robber. Spiritual possessions cannot be taken this way. You may kill an artist or a free thinker but you cannot acquire his art or his thought."-Bertrand Russel
"It is not a finished Utopia that we ought to desire but a world where imagination and hope are alive and active."-Bertrand Russel
"She was going to have room for the other energies which stirred uneasily under the dimness and pressure of her own ignorance and the petty peremptoriness of the worlds habits."-George Elliot
"Science and technology have magnified the destructive impact that the dysfunction of the human mind has upon the planet, other life forms, and upon humans themselves. That is why the history of the twentieth century is where that dysfunction, that collective insanity, can be most clearly recognized. A further factor is that this dysfunction is actually intensifying and accelerating."-Eckhart Toll

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Intelligent people who aren't afraid to be true to themselves and stand up against tyranny. Someone that can hold an intellectual conversation. Someone open to new ideas and beliefs. Someone who cares more about knowledge than beauty, drugs, alcohol, or material possessions.
