Roman Reznik was born 31.08.1980 At the age of 6 start to learn music at the special school of music in ukraine In 1991 first bassoon lesson , in 1993 won international competition for young woodwind players in Moscow.and one year later in Ukraine. 1996 has won scholarship to participate in Interlochen center for the arts in USA.Whe he was concerto competition winner and has performed solo concerts with orchestra.There he had a lessons with Barrick Stees Associate Principal of Cleavlend OrchestraIn 1997 he start his studies in Vienna Music Academy with professor Milan Turkovic.1998 member of Vienna Youth Orchestra and substitute in Orchestra of Vienna State Opera. 1999 scholarships from Austrain Gorvernment and Vienna Rotary Club In 2000 got position with Singapore Symphony Orchestra where he stayed till 2004. 2004 come back to Europe to complete the studies At the University of Music and Arts in Berlin with Professor Eckart Hübner , where he still currently From 2005 till 2007 was principal bassoon of Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra Music Director Claudio Abbado. And has performed with such Conductors as Nikolaus Harnocourt,Ingo Metzmacher,Philipp Jordan. in Summer 2006 has participated in Pacific Music Festival Japan where has been principal Bassoon under Valery Gergiev conducting. From 2006 till 2007 was guest Principal Bassoonist of Potsdam Kammerakademie under direction of Michael Sanderling and Sergio Azzolini. As well as guest principal of Munich chamber orchestra German Chamber Orchestra Berlin.and substitute in Berlin Symphony Orchestra. 2006 Scholarship from Villa Musica concert agency. Has performances in Austria, Germany,USA, China,Japan,Singapore,Sweden, France,Spain,Italy,Russia.Slovakei,England.
