Emery's Performance.
Discovered during his time with Killa Tribe (a group based in San Antonio), Poet has evolved into an artist of his own way. Performing was always part of his heart. He started writing 4 bar verses and going into his garage and performing in front of an invisible audience and making the crowd noise when he was done with the 4 bars at the age of 8. Thinking about lyrics was a second pick during his days of high school because he wanted to play college football when he finished school but during a long walk with Killa 10 (another member of Tribe) after practice they started kickin flows and 10 believed that he had a second choice if football didn't work. Still in love with the game Poet was disappointed his junior year and didn't get to play as much as he wanted... but he still had the music... Killa Tribe became the focus; they released the self titled album "Killa Tribe", the first album from Prognosis. He produced and engineered over 150 songs during his time with Killa Tribe. After 10 years Poet has emerged as a solo artist and has created his own sound moving away from the main stream and focusing on putting a soulful sound back into the music. Now with the soon to be released album "Free" Poet has found the soulful feel that he has long been looking for. After listening to the title song "Free" and the controversial song "disowned" you too will agree that Poet truly has found the soul.
