if you need help finding anything let us know.
We are also in need of paper for printing fliers or gift cards to Staples, Circuit City, Lowes, Home Depot, and Office Max. This will help get our office needs and building needs.
As soon as we are up and fully ready we would Love to have Donated or on loan sound Retired horses, or Bomb proof horses. We don't mind taking the well mannered Granny horses that are in the late teens to mid 20's this is a great retirement for them for they only have to carry small children and work 3 to 6 hours a week... and be loved by little kids... and brushed and fussed over by little hands.....
We really need big doners that would like to make or could make quarterly or annual donations... For this will help keep us up and running.
We are working on getting ouR Non Profit (501c3) status but this takes time...
If you have any Questions or would like to make a donation please feel free to email us at [email protected] or message us here we would love to hear from you....And we Welcome any and all ideas....

Information on what hippo therapy is...

Hippotherapy originated in Europe over 30 years ago. We use the movements of the horse to gain therapeutic benefits such as increased postural strength, better endurance, overall strengthening, and sensory regulation.
Kids get to ride bareback forward, sideways, backwards, kneeling, standing and quadraped! They have fun and don't realize they have worked so hard! ____________________________________________________________ ______

What is the difference between Hippotherapy and Therapeutic Riding?

In hippotherapy, a PT, OT or Speech Therapist is working directly with a patient on the horse to help the patient improve their functional skills. In Therapeutic Riding, a certified therapeutic riding instructor is teaching a person with special needs how to ride.

I'd like to meet:

Alex Palmer.
Alex has benefited greatly from the Equestrian Therapy With your help and your Donations is what makes this Possible.

What is Hippotherapy?

Hippotherapy is a term that refers to the use of the movement of the horse as a medical tool. The horses walk provides sensory input through movement, which is variable, rhythmic and repetitive. The resultant movement responses in the patient are similar to human movement patterns of the pelvis while walking. Licensed physical therapists and physical therapy assistants use the horse to accomplish treatment goals as specified by a physician's prescription.
