About Me

Hi everyone in case you didn't know my name is Erin Mairead (Rhymes with Parade) it is Gaelic for Margaret. I am very much a down to earth person. It's the little things in life that give me great joy.I am a native New Yorker. I was born and raised in NY. I went to the Garden City Public Schools and then decided to go to Catholic High School at Our Lady Of Mercy Academy in Syosset, NY!Going to Our Lady Of Mercy Academy was one of the best decisions I made in my life. I grew a lot as a person and received a wonderful education! After High School I then went to college at Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island. I loved it there and receieved such an a wonderful education! Plus Newport is such a gorgeous town and I loved how it was right by the ocean! After college I stayed in the New England area. I lived in Boston and Connecticut for a while and now I am back home in good old New York. I just love New York City! There is nothing like NYC! However I love the West Coast as well!I finally got out to California a few times last year and I had a blast seeing all the sights! It was great. I love the ocean. I always have since I was little.I love to travel (I love Europe especially Italy being I studied abroad at The American University of Rome and lived there for a summer! I just fell in love with the country, so a part of my heart will always belong there)I like discovering new places and meeting new people and going on adventures. The arts hold a special place in my heart being I am very creative and I love to act and write!I was an extra in the movie The Killing Floor that was filmed in NYC!The movie The Killing Floor won the award for Best Thriller at the 2007 Malibu Film Festival in California and is now out on DVD! So be sure to look for me on the silver screen! :)I also was an Extra in Jason Behrs new movie FROST: The Last International Playboy that was filmed in NYC in May of 07. The movie FROST: The Last International Playboy was shown at the 2008 Slamdance Film Festival in Utah and was shown at the 2008 Gen Art Film Festival in NYC. The movie FROST: The Last International Playboy will be hitting theaters in New York City on May 29,2009 and the DVD is coming out in June. So look out for me on the big screen in that as well. :)My ultimate dream is to do something in Film or Theater! I could care less about money or being famous just as long as I am happy and true to myself then that is all that matters.I basically try to live life to the fullest! I am very close to my family and friends! They mean the world to me! Anyway I just joined the wonderful world of Myspace. Yes I am now a member of the 21st century or as I loving call myspace the plague being everyone is on it and it spreads. LOL Still working on setting up my page and all but so far it is cool. So be sure to look for updates! :)

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who is fun, intelligent, creative, positive, passionate, has a great sense of humor, and has a great sense about themselves and just enjoys life.~Anyone who lives by this quote: "Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes, the ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules and they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things, they push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do." ~Apple Computer commercial "Think Different"The DSC is more than a shirt
