About Me

Urban troubadour, writer, and film composer, Matthew Tomlynson paints pictures with words and music. At once subtle and raw his songs 'swoop like hawks over small towns at the heart of us all.' (Jhave Johnson). Tomlynson has composed music for numerous films including 'Roadsworth.' (NFB/Loaded Pictures), 'Waltown The Film' (Radio Canada), and most recently 'The Diary' (NFB). Recent collaborators include Yannick Lavoie, Mathieu Dandurand, Louise Lamarre, Stefie Shock, and as always Mike Sammy. He is currently working on his first full length release.
