Dalla passione per i Black Label Society, nascono i Kings Of Damnation. Il primo nucleo si forma nell'Ottobre 2005 per volontà di Mattia (Voce, ex Shock 'n' Roll) che contatta il suo ex compagno di banco Alex (Chitarra) per formare una cover band Hard Rock/Metal. Alla batteria viene chiamato Thomas (Infernal Dream, ex Knead Shrimp). Dopo ricerche lunghe un paio di mesi, entra a far parte della band il chitarrista Davide (Roxanne, ex Shock 'n' Roll) e dopo aver provato qualche bassista approda nei KOD Claudio (ex Stunning Cunts). Sono questi gli elementi che danno stabilità e che costituiscono la prima formazione completa del gruppo. A questo punto Mattia, Alex, Thomas, Claudio e Davide decidono all'unanimità di concentrarsi sui Black Label Society e dar vita a una loro Tribute Band nel Padova Chapter.Il tempo passa inesorabile e la band nel periodo invernale si chiude in saletta per creare il proprio repertorio. Maggio 2006 però porta brutte notizie ai KOD: all'inizio del mese Davide è costretto a lasciare il gruppo per sopraggiunti impegni di lavoro, quindi i nostri sono costretti a ricominciare con la ricerca di un altro valido chitarrista solista che possa riportare la stabilità musicale alla band.Nel Luglio del 2006 entra a far parte dei KOD Michele (Gods Of Noise, Ozzmosis, ex UrtoSonoro) che con la sua esperienza e la sua passione per Zakk Wylde, porta energia fresca all'interno del gruppo.Il repertorio dei Kings Of Damnation include canzoni provenienti un po' da tutti gli album della band di Mr. Zakk Wylde, anche se l'attenzione è bilanciata verso i loro primi lavori, quali Sonic Brew, Stronger Than Death ed Eternal * 1919. L'obiettivo dei Kings Of Damnation è suonare quanto più possibile nei luoghi e nelle situazioni preferiti dai KOD stessi, ovvero feste della birra, motoraduni e pub ad alto contenuto rock!!
From the passion for Black Label Society, Kings of Damnation are born. It started in october 2005 out of Mattia's desire (vocals, ex Shock'n'roll). He called his ex schoolmate Alex (guitar) to form a hard rock/metal cover band. At the drums they called Thomas (Infernal Dream, ex Knead Shrimp). Two months of research later the guitarist Davide (Roxanne, ex Shock'n'roll) got in the band, and after some bass player try-outs, Claudio (ex Stunning cunts) joined in as well.With the band completed, they unanimously agreed to focus on Black Label Society and bring to life their own Tribute band for the Padova Chapter.During the winter the band holed up in the studio to build up their repertory, but in May a bad news hit them: Davide left them to focus on his daily work. A new research then began for a guitarist, and in July they finally found Michele (Gods Of Noise, Ozzmosis, ex UrtoSonoro), whose experience and passion for Zakk Wylde brought fresh energy into the band.Kings of Damnation's repertory includes songs from nearly every album of Mr. Wylde's band, even if special attention is reserved for their first works, such as Sonic Brew, Stronger Than Death and Eternal 1919. KOD's aim is to play as much as possible in places and situations favored by BLS themselves, so festivals, motorbike meetings and high-density rock-filled clubs!
