I am here for Friends

About Me

By a route obscure and lonely, Haunted by ill angels only, Where an Eidolon named Night On a black throne reigns upright, I have searched these lands but newly, From an ultimate dim Thule - From a wild weird clime that lieth, sublime, Out of Space - out of Time.Borrowed from the poem "Dreamland" by Edgar Allan Poe ............................................................ . / I work for the railroad as an engineer/conductor. I collect books, typewriters, and lots of records or compact disc. I try to write everyday. I suffer from the affliction known as hypergraphia which is the overwhelming urge to put ink on paper. I have struggled with this affliction all my life. The stacks of strewn documents are ponderous.I am guilty of living in the dream world. Perhaps this is why I am constantly conflicted with the waking life reality.I also have a large number of cats and 3 dogs as my friends here at the House of Blue. There were 9 cats and now it is down to 8 after Aloysius met his end on our slaughterhouse high-way out front.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People interested in writing, the creative process, and drawing with pen and ink. My overall tendency is toward what is called Gothic but I consider my interest to cover that of weird fiction. So if you like books about ghost, weird fiction, alienation, dreaming, fantasy, magic, hunting's, the atmosphere of houses, and other strange realms of existence I would like to be your friend.
