About Me

I'm Marisa pronounced marie-sa && I'm 20 years old.
I'm a student at Penn State majoring in Human Development and Family Studies. I have the most amazing family ever, and the best friends a girl could ever ask for. I believe it's the QUALITY not the QUANTITY of friendships that make them worthwhile. For the most part, I am a happy person---but I have my moments..quite often haha.

I live in Ledgedale (were almost 100% of my family lives) with my dad. As much as I love my cell phone, most of the time I can't stand it (samsung blackjack II you suckkk). Bad grammar really bothers me...especially when the wrong form of "your/you're", "to/too", and "there/their" is used. I don't let things bring me down too easily--I've always been taught to keep my head high through everything. Although I tend to be materialistic sometimes, the simple things in life actually do make me happiest. I drive a 2004 Dodge Stratus SXT Coupe, and I'll be the first to admit that I am obsessed and 100% in love with it. I don't dye my hair--it is naturally the darkest brown you will ever see. I'm EXTREMELY independent and I don't need my parents to support me. I tend to be paranoid, but I don't let my parnoia make my decisions for me. My biggest fears would be spiders && the dark. I'm not here to play games, so if you don't like that you can just click the "x" and get out. No, I will not meet up with you--especially if you are a pig and degrading. If you wanna talk for real, you know where to get me.

Grandma Elsie: Because she is the strongest woman I have ever known, and she is also truly an angel here with us on earth. And also, because she has helped me through so many tough times in my life && has stepped in and helped in raising my sisters and I.
My cousin James: Because he's uh, AMAZING? you try having brain cancer and fighting it when you're only a teenager. He is the strongest kid I know, and I look up to him more than ever. He's also showed me that giving up is a lot harder than trying.
My sisters Jenna & Riana: Because we have been through so much during our lives and within the last few years we have realized how fortunate we are to have each other.
My Dad: Because he is one of the bravest, loving, hardworking people on this earth. He risks his life everyday to help save yours.
My Mom: Because, she's my mom! Duh...I can talk to her about anything--and she's ALWAYS had faith in me and has always told me just to keep pushing myself to the next level in life.
