About Me

Myspace Backgrounds
I'm a working henna artist ( MountainMehndi.com ). I also sculpt a little bit and know my way around Prisma pencils. I'm a dog person and I can keep a house plant alive . . . just barely. If I were a tree, I'd be deciduous. If I were an animal, I'd be carnivorous. Turn-ons include facing south, heights, rocks, thunderstorms and large gatherings of nerds. Turn-offs include insufferable bores, the band Styxx, sloppy kisses, and temperatures below 65F.

Many Bothans died to bring us this Malynda.

I see Con people . . .

For the past 3 Octobers, the Henna Grrrls have made the arduous trek across the wastelands of Wyoming to make it to MileHiCon, a sci/fi/gaming convention in Denver, Colorado. The week was a blur, but...

Mabon

I'm pretty new to paganism, and while I haven't converted to it, I'm becoming more and more at home in its principles (which are remarkably close to Mormonism). We celebrated Mabon with our friends t...

Chuck-O-Rama

Today was one of those rare occassions that my darling David's day off and my happening to be in the same state occurred simultaneously. To celebrate, we decided to blow off our respective domestic r...

Cantilunar Dog

Perhaps you have noticed my Myspace handle: Cantilunar Dog. You will be hard-pressed to find the word "cantilunar" in any dictionary - for all I know, its a made-up word. Among the Scrabble-mad hen...

Just peachy

Back in the mid 1800's, a bunch of Mormons in Missouri decided they were tired of being shot, burned out, tarred & feathered, etc. and thought it would be a swell idea to head west. Upon reaching the...

Off to War!

I'm outta here bright and early (so, most likely about noon) to go to War. I'd been looking forward to this event all year, right up until I got strong-armed into teaching a class at it. I suck as a...
