Gris has a great collection of books he's written and illustrated for children. I've picked up several of them, and not only are they gorgeously Gothly illustrated, they're spooky and INTELLIGENT. GREAT kids books!

Movies:

Donnie Darko (!!!!), 9th Gate (anything Depp. Anything.) The Matrix 1-3, XMen 1&2 (or just about anything that came from a comic, like Constantine, Lady Death, Sin City (didn't get to see this, it didn't play here! argh!) Spiderman, but the Hulk movie SUCKED.), Identity, Story of O, anything Stephen King, Clive Barker's stuff, tear jerkers like The Notebook. Darkness I liked because evil won- how weird is that? Anything with Angelina Jolie. Anything with vampires. Anything with Cameron Diaz because she's a TRIP (cept for the Mary movie. I hated that one.)... Geez... I have only seen about 10 movies I DIDN'T love. So... pretty much anything :)

Television:

All I get to watch is CARTOONS... BUT if I have my choice, Tru Calling, Angel, Buffy (hey, they're FUNNY), all of which are OVER, but I have em all on DVD... Dead Like Me, Charmed (though I haven't seen it in forever), Stargate (not the Atlantis crap), Whose Line Is It Anyway (either version), The Red Green Show... more stuff :)

Books:

Trashy romance novels, vampire, horror, werewolf, Anita Blake stuff, Christine Feehan, Kinley MacGregor and Sherrilyn Kenyon (same chica, great romance), Kathleen Nance, most of the Harlequin Blaze stuff (these ain't the Harlequins your mama read), Lori Foster (more trashy romance), King, Barker (no, not Bob), Piers Anthony, Bertrice Small, stuff that's either scary or sexy :)

Heroes:

Hmm... I don't know that I have any. I've got people I would be excited to meet.. but no one I would pattern my life after.

Yay! First day of school here, and I am soooooooo HAPPY!! LOL The kids rode the bus today for the first time (well, riding TO school) and they'll be riding all year... no more driving back...
