People its time to speak up, affordable Hybrids are not a luxury, rather a necessity for our planet, our health, and our future. Why should we have to drive clunky dumb gas guzzlers when the technology to get 45MPG or better is right here (and has been)?
It's very apparent that the oil companies and big vehicle manufacturers will make it as difficult and as expensive as possible to curtail us from receiving these highly efficient vehicles.
After going to a dealer of a well known Auto maker (Lexus) and inquiring about purchasing a Hybrid, I noticed that at every single turn I was told for one reason or another not to buy one, and was almost forced to look into the NON-Hybrid version, and was also told that behind closed doors these vehicles (Hybrids) are actually capable of getting much higher gas efficency (almost 80MPG).
Its time to let our government and big business know what we want, rather not what they want....

I'd like to meet:
GM, Ford, Mercedes, BMW, Toyota/Lexus, Chrysler, etc...All vehicle companies in one room to find out when the set manufacturing deadline is for all vehicles to go Hybrid or better.
