About Me

Personality Test Diagnosis: ENFP (Extravert, Intuitive, Feeler, Perceiver). People of this type tend to be: enthusiastic, talkative, and outgoing; clever, curious, and playful; deeply caring, sensitive, and gentle; highly innovative, creative, optimistic, and unique; adaptable and resourceful but sometimes disorganized. This is an accurate description of what could be me. More than anything, I have a passion for psychology and will be attending graduate school in a little over a year pursuing either I/O Psychology or School Psychology as my career. I'm on a 5 year plan to be completely finished by age 30 (2011). By that time I'll be Dr. Jonathan L. Brown which will be quite an accomplishment. I also play bass. I'm still a novice, but plan on improving my skills throughout the year. I already have a band name and you can check it out at www.wheneyesdeceiveme.com If you're interested in knowing more, just ask.

My Interests

Living in NYC gives one the possibility to be interested in a plethora of things. I'm typically up for anything and willing to try new things. I not part of the NYC club life, that just isn't for me. However I do like to go to nice bars, restuarants, museums, concerts, malls, parks, movies, pool halls, bowling alleys, and other things. I like doing as much as I can and my pocket allows.

I'd like to meet:

I'm interested in meeting all types of people. Variety is the spice of life.

Music:

I'm eclectic when it comes to music, so whatever sounds good I listen to. I'm into a ton of bands. I'll list them for those that are curious what's on my ipod. It goes something like this...Alexisonfire, A Perfect Circle, A Static Lullaby, Armsbendback, Ataris, Audio Learning Center, Autopilot Off, Bayside, Brand New, Bright Eyes, Calling Blue Skies, Ben Folds Five, Chevelle, Coheed & Cambria, Dashboard Confessional, Dead Poetic, Deathcab For Cutie, Deftones, Early November, Earshot, Emery, Fall Out Boy, Feeling Left Out, Finch, Foo Fighters, From Autumn To Ashes, Further Seems Forever, Garbage, Glassjaw, Hawthorne Heights, Hey Mercedes, Incubus, Jimmy Eat World, Korn, Letter Kills, Matchbook Romance, Moneen, Motion City Soundtrack, MxPx, Name Taken, Nirvana, No Doubt, Offspring, One True Thing, Pearl Jam, Poison The Well, Postal Service, Rufio, Seether, Senses Fail, Shins, Silverstein, Smashing Pumpkins, Smile Empty Soul, Something Corporate, Sparta, Story Of The Year, Straylight Run, System Of A Down, Sunny Day Real Estate, Taking Back Sunday, Taproot, Thrice, Thursday, Tsunami Bomb, Used, Vendetta Red, Weezer, Yeah Yeah Yeahs...that is just a handfull, but I think you got the picture.

Movies:

When it comes to movies, it has to have some sort of psychological twist or theme to it. Examples include: A Beautiful Mind, American Beauty, Kinsey, Vanilla Sky, Girl Interrupted, Memento, Psycho, One Hour Photo, Sixth Sense, Silence Of The Lambs, Talented Mr. Ripley, and many others. So you get my drift of what I like?

Television:

Laughter is the best medicine and where would we be without Simpsons, Family Guy, Adult Swim, South Park, Crank Yankers, Chappelle, Letterman, Conan, and Seinfield. I also like to keep up with current events, discovery, food, NFL football. Absolutely no "reality t.v." series of any kind!

Books:

Give me a psychology-related book and I'll be sucked into another world.

Heroes:

Jung, Adler, Piaget...you get the picture.
