Samadhi Ra Anu (Jeanetta Thomas) is the author of ..From the Mind of a Scorpio.. and creator and former host of the inaugural poetry night series at the Legendary Red Cat Jazz Cafe... She is an avid writer, poet, singer, actress, and motivational speaker. She has performed her poetry and conducted book signings through out the United States. She has opened up for Author Omar Tyree, has been Mistress of ceremonies for book signings and galas for author and playwright Pamela Davis-Noland (..Coffee Colored Dreams..) and made her stage debut in the stage play ..Coffee Colored Dreams... She recently performed as the opening act for singer Nayrok Udab in Houston Texas. Samadhi mixes the smooth words of poetry and the deep and fluid rhythms.. of music to deliver a sexy and electric show that leaves her audience wanting more. With every movement of her lips one gets lost in her words and the passion that she radiates. Samadhi ends every show with ..May you all have Samadhi.., which means complete and perfect peace.
Samadhi is currently managing renowned rapper and writer Plucasso of New Classic Entertainment . Samadhi is a vintage clothing consultant and owns Ancestor Vintage Boutique. She is a registered massage therapist and holistic advisor. Samadhi is currently working on the revised edition of ..From the Mind of a Scorpio.. and just completed her second book entitled ..Why I Love.....a survival guide for modern day mommies. Samadhi currently resides in the Houston Museum District with her three sons, Jahree Atum, Jhasai Kemet and Khai Rafael.
