My name is Karen. I'm quirky, but I don't mind. I know what I want in life. I'm extremely laid back and easy going, although I am one of those nerds who keeps her place immaculate and orderly. I love learning, so I am definitely looking forward to going back to school and getting my Masters degree. I am a nurse in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and I absolutely love my job.
I'm a klutz. I pretend that I'm intelligent. I have pretentious interests, but I'm far from being pretentious. I respect everyone. I give everyone a chance. I don't get angry, ever. I'm a listener. I'm full of imperfections. My parents live in Iraq currently doing missions work, my brother is deployed to Iraq until January 2009, and my sister and brother-in-law live in New York City. I like the simplicity of spinach, grilled cheeses, pancakes, and potatoes. I like going barefoot (when allowed), being out in the rain, my glasses, being a bridesmaid, weddings, family values, children, mountains, oceans and beaches, rivers, and many other things. Hoodies, bonfires, and hot chocolate never fail me. I would like to own a Jeep someday (manual, of course). I love to smile, and I love to give and receive hugs. Laughter is the best medicine.I don't like conflict/confrontation. I dislike coleslaw (the only food I won't eat), creepy guys (everyone knows a couple of these). But one thing I really don't like is when you go swimming and the big kid does a cannon ball and gets your towel all wet!! What are you supposed to do when you get out of the pool and your towel is soaked?? You know what? I also don't like the genius who decided to put the letter "S" in the word "Lisp". What were they thinking? Were they trying to be cruel?
