The Berniest is born, rooted in the work of acoustic solo-project of 22 years old guitarist and songwriter Bernat Dorado. In the summer of 2006 he came back to his hometown with a bunch of songs on his head. Destiny wanted him to meet the bassist and producer Alejandro Vera. They began to work in the studio with 11 songs, and started the recording of the album GIRLS! GUYS! SMALL SPARKS OF LOVE ARE BURNING INSIDE US! which was self-produced and licensed under a Creative Commons License as a part of their philosophy. The recording sessions took place between March and July of 2007. In September 13th, The Berniest plays its presentation gig at ZAC Club in Barcelona.
