There Is No Way To Peace. Peace Is The Way.

About Me

My name's Brian.
I've been on this Earth for two decades. The years go by quicker as I grow old. Perhaps I just realize how small the world really is, and how insignificant the illusion of time is. Nevertheless, I'm trying to make the most of "my time" on Earth.
Life is short-lived, but each moment contains an abundance of life. I'm working to behold as much of the beauty of life's moments as possible.
In this age, we've become equipped with the tools to make life very simple. We are beginning to understand more and more the comprehensibility of our Universe. I hope to make a decent contribution to the advancements of this age.
To give you an idea of my areas of study:
I'm attending Illinois State University in order to get a degree in Music Business.
I play the piano regularly, and find that, personally, jazz piano is a most expressive means of communicating what I understand to be the soul.
I enjoy spontaneously composing music...reflecting what I channel through the depths of my being.
I try not to corrupt the beauty and stillness of life itself with my human and earthly desires; but I've found that the perception of such desires is entertaining.
Hopefully I can be honest enough to truly advance musically; find ever more creative means to communicating the empirically evolving soul within my heart.
I hope to own a lounge where any prospective artist or musician can feel an aesthetic spirit and the comfort, support and resources to create their artistic endeavors.
Ideally, I'd raise a family in such an environment; depending on my slow-yet-steady search for a spouse.
At this point in life, I'm interested in meeting people, especially women, as I find that the presence of the opposite sex is a wonderful compliment to natural desires; by no means am I excluding the meeting of other men.
In my life-long search for friends, I will hold nothing against the pursuit of friendship with (I hope) everyone.
It gets me nowhere to exclude others on the basis of my own wants or needs. I allow others to be themselves and demand only the right mindset on my part. It's a blessing when others become aware of their own demands.
I'm truly blessed for those I've met (or read about) who have such an impersonal point of view.
I plan to learn and practice as much as possible the means to dis-identifying with my own mind.
True wisdom comes from beyond the mind.
I hope to know it.
It must be said, though, that as of now...I know nothing.
