Filipe Furão as known as Jackspot was born in Lisbon in the year of 1980. At eight years old his parents offered him, as a Christmas gift, an electronic Synthesizer. Maybe this event was the responsible for the way Filipe’s life turned.
Since the yearly years he showed ability and interest for eclectic sounds, such as whisper sound and percussion. It was not strange that at the 16 years of age he already had been founder of several new metal, rock and Pop bands, always with electronic elements in the mixture.
At 18 years he joined hip-hop producers and learned the art of sampling, having edited several rap themes that led him to be invited to produce some artists of this music category. As a normal development, the hip-hop raised the passion for the Downtempo, breakbeat and drum’n bass, leading Jackspot to his favorite producers Dalata, A guy called Gerald and Photek.
Between 2000 and 2005 Jackspot preferred a more discrete approach that gave him time to appreciate the trends of electronic world music.
In 2006 he meets Manuel Calapez during a project named CDR Night and quickly forms a new project duo named Internal Sync where Jackspot apllies his knowledge and art in djing and production.
At the present time Jackspot is working on improving is own style in terms of groove, production, performance and djing. The main objective is to create a Jackspot style, an identity, by combining organic, etnical and human elements in a mathematical way.
His main influences are in all the Highgrade artists.
He hopes that some day he will be able to show and express by sounds bricolage his message to the world of music.

Filipe Furão aka Jackspot nasceu em 1980 em Lisboa. Aos 8 anos de idade os pais ofereceram-lhe um orgão electronico, o qual o apaixonou.
Desde cedo mostrou abilidade e interesse por sons diversos, desde sopro a percursão. Não foi de estranhar que aos 16 anos iniciou várias bandas de new metal, com alguns elementos electronicos à mistura. Aos 18 anos juntou-se a produtores hip-hop e aprendeu a arte do sampler, tendo entao editado varios temas rap e tendo tambem sido solicitado para produzir alguns artistas. Do hip hop surgiu entao a paixao pelo Downtempo, breakbeat e Drum-n-bass, tendo tido como produtores preferidos, Dalata, A guy called Gerald e Photek.
Jackspot passou entao um tempo parado entre 2000 e 2005 para poder apreciar o rumo da electronica mundial, até que em 2006 conhece Manuel Calapez num projecto chamado Noite Cdr, onde neste momento é parte integrante do projecto. Desse conhecimento surgiu o projecto Internal sync onde Jackspot faz dupla a nivel djing e producao .
No presente momento Jackspot esta a criar e aprofeicoar o seu proprio estilo e groove, tanto a nivel da producao, performance e djing, procurando em elementos organicos, etnicos e humanos, o casamento dos sons de forma matematica.
Tem como principais herois todos os artistas da Highgrade. Espera um dia poder mostrar, exprimir através da bricolage de sons a sua mensagem

Filipe Furão, bekannt als Jackspot, wurde 1980 in Lissabon geboren. Im Alter von 8 schenkten ihm seine Eltern einen Synthesizer als Weihnachtsgeschenk. Vielleicht war dieses Ereignis dafür verantwortlich, in welche Richtung sich Filipes Leben bewegte. Seit seiner frühesten Jugend zeigte er großes Talent und Interesse im Erzeugen elektronischer Sounds. Es war deshalb nicht verwunderlich, dass er schon mit 16 Gründer von zahlreichen Metal, Rock und Pop Bands war - immer mit elektronischen Elementen in den Arrangements. Mit 18 traf er auf Hip Hop Produzenten und lernte hier die Kunst des Samplen. Er schrieb mehrfache Rap Themen, die dazu führten, einige Künstler dieser Branche zu produzieren. Als logische Folge entfaltete der Hip Hop eine Leidenschaft für Downtempo, Breakbeats und Drum ‚n' Bass, die ihn geradewegs zu seinem Lieblingsproduzenten Dalata (Gerald und Photek) führten.
Zwischen 2000 und 2005 zog sich Jackspot ein wenig zurück, um sich Zeit für die Trends der elektronischen Musik zu nehmen. Im Jahr 2006 traf er während eines laufenden Projektes mit dem Namen CDR Night auf Manuel Calapez, die darauf eines neues Projekt mit dem Namen Internal Sync gründeten. Jackspot konnte hier seine Kenntnisse und sein künstlerisches Talent im Mischen und Produzieren einfließen lassen. Zur Zeit arbeitet Jackspot an der Verbesserung seines eigenen Stils hinsichtlich Groove, Produktion, Performance und Mischen. Das Hauptziel liegt im Erschaffen eines Jackspot-Stils - einer Identität. Seine hauptsächlichen Einflüsse finden sich in allen Highgrade Künstlern.
