Autumn Armor

About Me

&nbsp Autumn Armor started in 2008 after Colin and Ben parted ways with a project they were previously in together. After getting a van and recording an EP with Alan Evans of Soulive, they found themselves back at square one. With the dissolution of the band emerged a positive: a strong musical connection between the two which served as the platform for a new band. With guitar and bass covered, the new team set out to find members to round out the band. Jon Reilly, drummer and long time friend of Ben, was in town for a short time on break from touring with Boston band Big D and the Kids Table. The three got together in a living room, plugged in, and within 3 hours new the search for band members had ended. Drawing inspiration for the trio format from their mentors in Soulive, Ben took on the dual role of guitar and vocals, and they immediately began writing and recording songs.
In 2008 they recorded a 4 song EP with Alan Evans at Playonbrother Studios. (currently for sale through nimbit and at shows) In the following year they recorded 6 more songs to complete a 10 song LP, titled "Patience," due sometime in 2010. Currently the boys are playing shows and constantly writing new material, setting out on a mission to lend their music to whoever will listen.&nbsp
