About Me

Originally formed in 1989 in Harrisburg Pennsylvania, Savage Bliss has gone through the typical ups and downs that any professional working band goes through, but has come out of the ashes to reaffirm it's place as one of the best and unique progressive based heavy rock bands to come out of Pennsylvania.Reformed by three of the original members, Savage Bliss is carrying on with the music that they do best. Inventive, interesting, energetic, unique and dynamic heavy rock. The members of Savage Bliss came from an era of music dominated by bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Queensryche, and Savatage. Today, they continue with their own brand of music, but still have the elements of the music that influenced them, as well as embracing newer directions...never letting themselves become stagnant, or predictable.The band is now setting it's eye on giving it's fans more of what they've been used to getting, and to pull in a new set of fans that haven't yet experienced Savage Bliss.

Influences: Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Queensryche, Dio, Savatage, Helloween, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Dokken, Accept, Kings X, Queen, ...etc.But finding newer bands like Symphony X, Primal Fear, Hammerfall, Stratovarius and others, has proven to be somewhat of a new inspiration and a welcome change from the normality of the current state of rock/metal.
Sounds Like: Progressive rock/metal...ex., Savage Bliss; Judas Priest; Iron Maiden; Queensryche; Helloween; Savatage; Alice In Chains; Primal Fear; Fates Warning, etc.
