I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

bonsai trees.Happily spoken for.

My Interests

Bonsai... They appear in some of my pictures. Violin. Yard work... I like keeping it looking nice. I like keeping my house looking nice too, but it's a constant battle. Work is a blessing. Coaching hockey keeps me close to the game. Movies and books and stories entertain me.

I'd like to meet:

Overland Park people.

Music:

Yes please.

Movies:

a must see for all you Christopher Walken fans
Also: The Royal Tenenbaums, The Hudsucker Proxy, The Big Lebowski, Bottle Rocket, Finding Neverland, Better Luck Tomorrow (great music too), Labrynth, The Princess Bride, Bandits, Unbreakable, SLC Punk. Always willing to watch something I've never seen.

Television:

No TV = happy mike. I do own the complete Adventures of Pete and Pete series on DVD. Artie is enviable.

Books:

Current read: Kurt Vonnegut-Man Without a Country. I'm glad he gave us another one! His writing is so amazing, it just makes me *feel* sometimes mirth, sometimes sadness, but emotion... yes!
Some faves... You Can't Go Home Again, The Pillars of the Earth, Player Piano (and pretty much anything Vonnegut), Winter's Tale, The Dark Tower series, Fooled By Randomness, Suspension of a Secret in Abandoned Rooms, A Short History of Nearly Everything, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, The Stand, The Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy, Still Life With Woodpecker.

My Blog

Time to put some goals on cyber-paper

I like my house. In fact, I like it an awful lot. It is a nice place, but lots of the fixtures in the place are just kind of stock and leave a little to be desired. With winter coming up I will be ...
