Good day/evening my name is Arnar Már Friðriksson but my pet name is addi and I actually have a third name which is aVo but that is my artist name, I am 22 year old singer from ReykjavÃk, Iceland and my relatives live all across Iceland. My main interest is singing and song-writing and I do that as much as I can. I like to perform music but I don..t call my self a guitarist even I can hit a note or two and I love to play bass and smacking the shit out of the precussion. I love bands like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Queen, Muse, Dream Theater, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and my inspiration comes from singers like Freddie Mercury, Ian Gillan, Robert Plant, Matthew Bellamy, Kurt Cobain, Kevin James Labrie and Ray Gillen but he is most known for his replacement in Black Sabbath for Glenn Hughes and Gillen recorded an album called The Eternal Idol,( he didn..t stay in the band long tough). I also love Mike Matijevic wich you can see here making high notes above, he..s just one of the greatest. The reason I discovered music itself was when I saw ,,Jesus Christ Superstar,, it just knocked me out, and from that moment I knew I wanted to be a musician. I am a very big fan of this musical that was made in 1973 were Ted Neely and Carl Anderson made a mindblowing perforformane After I discovered that masterpiece I found out that this musical was made after a composition by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice and therefore I noticed Ian Gillan and Murray Head. I am now a part of a great rock band called ,,DUST,, and that oppurtunity hit me just shortly after I participated in a rock tv-series in Iceland and we just made a soon to be released album called ,,RadioKiller,, check it out on the Dust myspace in my topfriends below, Dust is: aVo, Dave Dunham, August Thor, and Big E. I want to work as a musician in the future and I found the guys I connect with and Dust is a group wich is here to stay but also I would like to finish college sometime. I have a beautiful little girl with ,,Birta,, and my little girls name is ,,Isabella,, and the song above Isabella is a song I wrote about her. She is my pride and my treasure. My mother and my father are both very musical and I probably get some of my interest from them. My sister ,,Ingunn,, is a fantastic singer and she is a star to be discovered.
