Young Fitz (Ty Miller) was born December 1, 1987. He was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa. Growing up, he was a scholar, very active in sports, and very active in his church. But, that did not stop him from being exposed to the other side of life in Pittsburgh. Though never been put too deep in the game, Fitz is well aware of the grittier, rougher life Pittsburgh has to offer.
Growing up, Fitz was always surrounded by music. At age 13, he began to develop a deeper love for it. That’s when he began to practice writing and began to freestyle outside his church parking lot. There he met James Moore (The Maestro). James started to set up battles between Fitz and other local artists within the church community. There, Fitz began to develop his skill and also make a name for himself.
At that time James decided to take it to another level. He proposed that Fitz and himself start recording and making songs. Fitz was then introduced to Corey Gale (CLG). They began to make songs together alongside Corey’s younger brother Jimmy B, James’ cousin D.C., and Chris Ransome; creating a small buzz on the Eastside and Southside parts of Pittsburgh.
Now, Young Fitz has created a name for himself around Pittsburgh. He has three mixtapes under his belt and collarbortations with other artists known around the city. He has done collarborations with CLG, D.C., Jimmy B, J Lash, Quelz, Chris Ransome, Driz of UPS, K-Dash of UPS, and Owey. Be on the lookout for new hits and releases to come.";
