My mom says I was four when I started beating on pots and pans in the kitchen floor for different sounds. Growing up I would emulate everyone from Dr. Dre to DJ Magic Mike with the beats. All I had was my hands and anywhere I could find a "boom". Then Timbaland came along in the mid 90's and blew me away. One in a million changed the game. Then it was Supa Dupa Fly, The bachelor... Timbo was killing the game. Thats when I started really being intrigued about how it all comes together. I joined the Navy after HS. Out in Cali, a DJ showed me the Korg Triton. He told me it was what the Neptunes use. So I went to Guitar Center in EL Cajon, outside San Diego. I stayed there for hours. It was like producer heaven. Boards and Beat machines everywhere. So I went up to the store for four hours a day with the manuals for equipment I didn't own and started learning. Dvd after Dvd, Book after Book. Finally in O3' I got a chance to play some tracks at "The NEPTUNES" studio in Virginia Beach to Grammy Award winning recording engineer "Andrew Coleman." Pusha T of the Clipse directed me to the studio were my demo was played. I got some advice from Drew and a sneak preview of the then unknown "Change Clothes" track for the Black Album. 20 yrs after the pots and pans here I am with the MPC2500, Roland Fantom, MOTIF ES etc. Ready to join my music idol Timbaland in making tracks to blow you away!!!
