Key of Three is the coming together of two singer/songwriters who wanted to bring a larger sound to their audiences in a very unique way. Instead of walking down the well trodden traditional path of adding more members for a thicker sound, Kirsten and Mike decided upon something a bit more challenging. By playing a divided drum set with their feet while singing, and/or playing various other instruments, they have captured the rich full sound of a three piece band, but with just two members. With four solo albums between them, and a collection of co-written songs, there is no shortage of material or creativity within this duo. The Key of Three sound is a diverse one, ranging from earthy folk with a twist of vintage country, to straight up rock.
