Hachi Ju Hachi

About Me

In days of yore (2001), a galant band of gentlemen would sit in a downtown pub and discuss the musical influences that the punk rock world has seen. Upon discovery that they all had similar tastes, they decided to unite in a single drive to further the punk rock movement in the world by establishing a punk rock band of their own. Enter Hachi Ju Hachi.Since those days, Hachi Ju Hachi (as they had come to be known) has put forth a noble effort throughout the land to bring punk rock music to the people of Denver. Punk rock aficionados of all ages quickly picked up on Hachi Ju Hachi's fast, fun, and intense music and performances. Sounds of screaming guitars, chest-pounding bass, thunderous drums, and heart-stopping vocals can be heard throughout the land on various evenings. The people of Denver have come to love and appreciate the music that Hachi Ju Hachi has and continues to bring to them in their cause for punk rock splendor.Today, Hachi Ju Hachi continues to play and enjoy punk rock music. They are constantly developing their sound and honing their skills as musicians. Unity between them and their fans are of utmost importance to Hachi Ju Hachi. Their performances are hailed as fun, exhilarating, electrifying, intense, aggressive, and intimate as they seek to personalize their music to each person in the audience. Their lyrics are derived from people, places, issues, values, and experiences that have influenced them over the years. Hachi Ju Hachi hopes that each person who hears their music will relate, in some way, to the messages they sing. They hope that you who are reading this, will join their band of friends and seek to appreciate their music and performances for yourself.By the way, Hachi Ju Hachi means "88" in Japanese...now you know.BRANDO: born 5/23/78 Hailfax, Nova Scotia.
