I WAS BORN WITH STICKS IN MY HAND!!!THE BIO OF ANTONIO L. HUNT JR.-Antonio Hunt Jr. was born in Chicago, Illinois to the wonderful people in the persons of
Antonio L. Hunt Sr. and Launda Ervin. Antonio Sr. is one of Chicagos premiere drummers. He has played for many but the one that stands out is; the Chicago Mass Choir. Through the gift of music that his father possessed, after moving to Landover, Maryland, Antonio Jr. got his start. Antonio Jr., was a musician at Wayside Holyness Assembly of God at the age of 3. There is where he meet an awesome man, in the person of Prentice Brown. Prentice took Antonio under his wing for 3 years. After which God re-directed the steps of Antonio and his mother to the church formally known as The Church of the Lords Disciples (C.O.L.D.S.) COLDS is where Antonio met a great drummer in the person of Greg Long. Greg brought Antonio in to a different style of music. Gospel. Antonio was used to the traditional style of gospel, but he was now introduced to John P. Kee, Israel Houghton, etc. Greg helped Antonio with rudiments, and the different technical sides of drumming. It wasn't to long after, when Antonio meet an awesome music director in the person of Mike Reid Sr., after COLDS was renamed to the SoulFactory. Mike Reid, came to the SoulFactory and changed the whole music department thus giving Antonio his first opportunity to play at the SoulFactory in the 5 years that he had been there. Through time, Antonio had the pleasure of meeting some very familiar faces such as; Tonex(2), The Sugar Hill Gang, Tyron Powell, Tye Tribbett, Bryan Linnear, and many more. But, there was no one more important than the crossed paths of Antonio and an awesome musician in the person of Phillip Carter. Phil became, the youth minister of music at the SoulFactory. Over time, Phil took Antonio under his wing and taught him discipline. Phil was a great asset to Antonio's life and career. Phil supplied Antonio with a job at a church by the name of; Breathe of Life Ministries. After the time had past, Antonio found himself back under the direction of Mike Reid. Once again, Antonio had the opportunity to cross paths with National Recording Artist, Brent Jones. Yet agin, Antonio was taken under the wing of another musical great. Brent gave Antonio more teaching on the art of discipline. Brent allowed Antonio to play and be graced with presence of some of gospel music's greats, Byron Cage, J. Moss, and Donnie McKlurkin. This only prepared Antonio for the future ahead. After that chapter in Antonio's life had finished, he was back in connection with Phil Carter. Now, Antonio had another job playing at Mt. Ephraim Baptist church, having the opportunity to play and travel. Antonio traveled to places such as; Savannah, Georgia, and Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania. During this time, Antonio was hooked with a singer in the person of Byron Motley, who seeked the help of Antonio to help his singing group move forward. They go by the name of Nu-G. They also had the opportunity to play in Lynchburg, VA, George Mason University, George Washington University, Spirit of Faith, Amercian University, and many more places. During the middle of all of this, God ordered Antonio and his mother to once again move churches now setting foot in Victory Christian Ministries International. This is where Antonio's resume became a little bit longer. He had the opportunity to play with Martha Munnizzi, Vicki Yohe, and his first live production recording in "When A House Ain't A Home" where, he produced the main track. Antonio is now doing is thing as a CEO of A.L.H. Productions, his music production group. What will Antonio do next??? Let's wait and see!!!!-Antonio H.Tripplet Chops and More
