Lima&Weiss

A project keeping transatlanticism alive!Our song "At Ease Overseas" already says a lot about us...Raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Lima attended Glenbard East High School. It was there that he met Weiss. Although Weiss went back to Germany and later attended Heidelberg university, and Lima attended Indiana University in Bloomington (go Hoosiers!), the two remained close friends for the next 8 years or so.In November 2006, Lima made a visit to Deutschland for the first time. There, he and Weiss would record their first ever studio-produced track. The producer, Heikouality, provided the atmosphere, the beat, and his expertise on the keyboard. Vinia and Heiko improvised the outro on the spot--and it is Vinia's multilayered voice that leaves you calm and collected as the song finishes. Thus, "At Ease Overseas" was born.Also added to the page is "Nate tha Snake"--a track recorded and produced by Lima in Washington, DC. It describes the natural history of the Eastern-Hognose snake native to northern Virginia (Lima's current home). NTS (as we affectionately call him) had some very interesting habits...which unfortunately made him difficult to care for. As such, he was released on April Fool's Day 2007 (4/1/07).
