I am a firm believer that you can and do create your own reality. By Simply changing your choice of words both spoken and unspoken, by the people you surround yourself with and by the activities you do daily.In sixth grade my teacher pulled me aside and told me that I had leadership qualities and my peers looked up to me. I have recalled those words numerous times through out my life thinking of how I could apply those words. After high school I enlisted in the Marine Corps. After a stint I was employed as a letter carrier with the post office making a decent wage.Ten years went by stuck in a dead end job that did not recognize leadership or individuality. I made the decision to push past my fear of losing a job with good pay and great benifits. So I quit my job but this was not an easy thing to do. There were a lot of people who thought this was crazy. Of course that was their fear speaking because they would never do that. I spent several years changing my self talk. The words that I said to myself, my thoughts. I am meant to be something more, to do something more. I am not a boat without a rudder being swept to and fro by the current. I control where I go and what I do. The biggest obstacle is our fear. How am I going to pay the bills if I leave this job? What if I lose my house, what then? What am I going to do if I fail? There is no failure only results I would tell myself! Blazing a way of new opportunity I went to real estate school, graduated and received my license to buy and sell real estate. A dream that I had for years. A dream that I made into a reality!
