Baker’s Cottage play music. Period. Shiny nice instruments. Long melodies,
but no vocals at all. Jazz? Indeed there are numbers in the chords and
scales with more than five notes but to call it jazz would probably be a
little bit wrong. Folk music? Not really. Even though some melodies sound
as if they at least have been on vacation to several countries with proud and
bearded tradition, yet, you can not disregard these ingredients. Mix them
with blues, pop and the melodies from the north side of the lake. Stir
with Marcus Olsson’s saxophones and Erik Wäcklén’s guitars and there you
have it. Acoustic with no net below; Baker’s Cottage.
