After a two week Alberta/BC tour Shocore is back in the studio recording the final stages of their 3rd full length album. The process has been a little slow going as Sho has been producing various other artist including Crystal Pistol and the Manvilles. Core has been doing guest vocals on some of these records as well as guest vocals on a recent childrens record due out this fall. He, and Sho have also been decorating sets on a few TV movies being shot in Vancouver and the new series Supernatural. We have a new bass player on board, Kim (KK) Cabral who's previouse band was the heavy metal project Children of Tragedy (Ex Singer from Loco.) She adds a whole new element to the band, and will kick the shit out of you live. Enzo who is still very close with the band has moved on to pursue his own project called Voltz. His songs are very strong and super catchy we wish him the best and know he will do well. If you have seen Shocore live lately you know we've been playing a cover of "The Devil Went Down To Georgia" and the response has been so good to the song live we recorded a version that will be appearing on the next record. The sound has not changed much for the third record it is however a touch darker. Sal (the Kid) has taken his guitar playing to new heights of late and has aslo contributed the music to two new Shocore songs titled Shocker and Acid Flash. You may have noticed an ad on TV for drinking and driving featuring Bonecracker where the kid in the back seat gets thrown through the front window... we licensed that a month or so ago as well we have another Smallville episode under our belt with the licensing of Evilution to an episode about street racing. That makes 3 Smallville episodes with 3 different songs. Core has also once again been asked to voice a few more charters for EA video games including the new version of Knock out Kings. Dean bought his first house!! Yes, the man behind the samples who hits all the high notes threw down on a nice spread out in the valley recently and continues to melt heads at local strip clubs as a DeeJay from time to time. Bob Wagner has been pulling double duty as drummer for both Shocore and Vancouver band tourist who have recently been in the studio recording and running short tours to Winnipeg and back. Sho, Sal, Bob and Greg (Crystal Pistol) are collaborating on a new project called 3 Hills. They are doing shows all over Vancouver. Sal and Bob are also doing another project called Southern Death Threat. Be shure to check them out live aswell. Business - at this moment we continue to be on Linus Entertainment who have recently changed distribution from Warner to Universal. we do not know however if this new record will come out on Linus or not as there will be much negotiating to do first.Listen for the new stuff from the forthcoming album on CFOX like "Devil Went Down To Georgia", "Lost in Austin" and "Death of Me."
