NO PSYCHICS!

I'd like to meet:

If you believe in God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. And you say you are ‘saved’. Then I would go on to think that what the Bible has to say about this topic would be of importance to you. If you are interested…….read on, if not then that is your choice.
Firstly: The Earth, and Heavens and all that are contained were made by God. They were made for his pleasure and for us. All things were made by him, and him alone.
Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow. And is a discernment of the heart.<<<<< here is the “Power” you want some of!!!
When we say we have faith, it is because we have asked something of God, in prayer. If “we” have the faith of a mustard seed we would be able to move a large mountain. The power is “his” power. “Not our power, Not the Mountains Power” But, God’s power alone. John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you. Ye shall ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you.<<<<<<<< Again, this is the power of prayer, “using the right powers for the right things” Notice if “you” abide in God, and “his” word’s abide in “you”.
Light and Dark cannot dwell in the same place. For some to say it is God’s power and a special gift from God given to me from “my Grandmother” as we in my family have psychic abilities. Then this person is saying, they have power, set apart from God. God gives “each” and “every-one” of us that are saved, special powers not just “some”. For some to say they have the power of God, and to lay claim in this way is a “lie”.
Deut. 18:10-12 There shall not be found among you any one that useth divination, (fortune telling, ouja boards, automatic writing) Or an observer of the times, (a person who deals with astrology and horoscopes) Or an enchanter, (magician) Or a witch, (one making compacts with evil spirits-thus possessing supernatural powers) Or a charmer, (hypnotist) Or a consulter with familiar spirits, (spiritist medium) Or a wizard, (clairvoyant, psychic, ESP, telepathy) Or a necromancer, (one who supposedly communicates with the dead; voodoo) FOR ALL that DO THESE THINGS are an ABOMINATION UNTO THE LORD.
If you out there are reading this and thought it was okay, to believe in those things above, then I would like you to know, that: Light and Dark cannot dwell in the same place. You cannot have God, Jesus Christ, nor the Holy Ghost, and claim to have these special powers.
God gives “each of us” the ability to use “his power” through us. When we become saved, we are filled with the Holy Spirit after baptism, there are gift’s that we have our choosing from. Here are a few: Healing, speaking in tongues, Prophesy, discernment (which is to know the intent and honesty in someone’s heart), to name a few. These are “not” powers given to us. They are God’s powers used through us, based on our faith in him. The powers given to us by God, cannot be “used” with the powers of darkness by the same person. Why not? Well, that would make God a liar and a hypocrite.
Those powers of darkness are from other places, not from God, Jesus Christ or the Holy Ghost. They are tricks to take you away from the true God. You do not have to literally worship devils to be taken away from God, you merely have to be led away from God “to another place”.
The most quoted scripture: (I believe) is: John 14:6 Jesus said: NO MAN cometh to the Father, BUT BY ME. So, If he tells you plainly the way, and you chose to read, and speak out for those that do the works of darkness, you tell me, Is the real God, in you? Darkness, and light cannot dwell in the same place. A man cannot have two masters. A house divided…..will fall. (The house being you, yourself) You cannot believe in the true God, and preach everlasting hopes of heaven and salvation, and at the same time pray to stars, devils, spirits, rocks and dirt. Or praise and believe those who “say” clearly they are the wicked ones. That is a hypocrite, who says they are saved, but praise the works of darkness. A hypocrite, is a liar. Satan was allowed to retain tremendous wisdom and power, along with the violence he acquired, and given this earth as a temporary domain to try the souls of men. He is likened to “a roaring lion” that goes about “seeking whom he may devour.” (1Pet.5:8) He truly has the nature of a vicious, heartless animal but he “transforms” himself “into an angel of light.” He is the source of all evil, lawlessness, lies and “lying wonders” and his retinue of demons assist by oppressing and possessing victims who will let them in; Impersonating the dead to promote reincarnation and spiritualism. Know this: 2 Cor. 5:6,8 Knowing that whilst we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord: We are confident that to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.
Eph. 6:10-18 be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against wickedness in high places. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit. (See “Holy Spirit”).
He imitates all the gifts of the Holy Spirit; gives advice, reveals mysteries (such as names, numbers, where to find lost articles, etc.) Gives supernatural faith (to walk barefooted over hot coals, to be transported from one place to another); gives power to perform miracles (such as dematerializing articles, bending metal, etc.; predict the future,) etc.
Astrology is condemned in the Bible as “abomination” (Deut.18) It is a pagan practice which encourages people to consult the powers of darkness instead of God. It is fatalistic, tending to paralyze initiative and right judgment and excuses man from his responsibility before God.
“In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. The steps of a righteous man are ordered of the Lord, and he delights in his way”
The works of the devil DESTROY PEACE and HAPPINESS, and plant seeds of Discord and Fear.
