About Me

Carlton Leonard Johnson was born on March 12, 1974, in New York City to the proud parents Mr. Leonard Carlton Johnson and Mrs. Cynthia La Verne Johnson. His mother moved to California when he was five years old. There he grew up and attended Longfellow Elementary and Davis Middle school in Compton, Ca. He graduated from High School in Hawthorne, Ca. All of his teachers and students respected and loved him for his humor, leadership ability and winning personality traits. Carlton always tried to help others and sometimes appeared to carry the world upon his shoulders at an early age. He confessed and met Jesus at the age of fourteen. Pastor Lonnie Dawson, at New Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles, baptized him in California. He grew up sharing his dreams and desires and one was to get married and raise a family. The other was to become a police officer. Carlton always tried to help his troubled peers, but became troubled himself. His life turned around when he graduated from high school and fulfilled his dream to be in law enforcement when he joined the United States Navy to serve his country as a Petty Office 3rd Class Master At Arms. He met and married Rebecca Price on January 6, 1997. He said, "She was the best thing that happened to me." Carlton enjoyed restoration of classic cars, music, his dog Tyson, sports events with his son Anthony, Kung Fu Theatre, and cartoons. On April 12, 2007, Carlton life was cut short and he has gone on to be with the Lord.
