About Me

Hey what's up people call me Justin but you can call me Justin T. Turner. I graduated at the top of my class from Memorial High School and am currently attending the University of Texas at Austin. I plan to double major in Business Administration and Finance along with a minor in music. Depending upon how things work out in the ensuing years, I may pursue a Corporate Law degree. I love my Savior Jesus Christ with all of my heart and thank Him everyday for all He's done for me. Those that know me know that I'm passionate about music. To me, the perfect job would be to get paid to sit around naked all day and play music...and get paid for it! I play just about any instrument I can get my hands on, although the guitar happens to be my instrument of choice. Through instrumentals and solos I can express emotions that cannot be described with words. Anyway, if you wanna know more, cordially send me an email requesting more information on me, if there's anything left to know...I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!

My Interests

Playing, performing, and writing music (expect an album in mid-2008), guitars, cadallacs, hillbilly music, 2007 Sunburst Orange Metallic Chevy HHRs, money (in any currency), HE Buddy, aviators, converse, mantees, mountain dew, Brian Bowden, Brian's leather pants, The Barefoot Bandit (he's hot), women that like guy's who have chest hair, guy's who have chest hair, carne guisada and taking long romantic walks on the beach accompanied by a beautiful white stallion.

I'd like to meet:

Eddie Van Halen, Barbara Walters, Matt Damon, Brian's blue sheet, any guy that thinks he's cool just cause he's in the drill team, anyone who enjoys having a good time, those guys who raided every single dorm at Discovery Camp 06', and anyone who wears girl pants. Oh, and that sexy, mexican-looking guy that plays guitar in the Crossfire band.

Music:

Lynyrd Skynyrd, Van Halen, The Beatles, ZZ Top, The Eagles, John Mayer, The Police, Taking Back Sunday, Chiodos, Hillsong United, Bullet for My Valentine, The Devil Wears Prada, Marty Urwin, Underoath, The Almost, Relient K, Blink 182, Angels and Airwaves, Explosions in the Sky, Nickel Creek, Keith Urban, Brad Paisely, George Strait, Shania Twain, Hawthorne Heights, Silverstein, All-American Rejects, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Cars, Boston, ACDC, The Beach Boys, Michael Jackson, Crossfire band (Those guys are hot!), Ones to Follow, Sky on Fire, AFI, Forever and a Day, The Offal Syndicate, Thursday, The Killers, Pancake Rescue Squad, and whole lot more that I can't think of at the moment.

Movies:

300 (Sparta!), Every Star Wars movie, Back to the Future, Top Gun, Both Jackass movies, Borat, Team America, Happy Gilmore, My Fair Lady, all three Lord of the Rings movies, Bring It On, Dazed and Confused, The Count of Monte Christo, Titanic, Napoleon Dynamite, Freebird the Movie, The Italian Job, The Shooter, The Borne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, and recently though I struggle to admit, The Phantom of the Opera. Also, I've got this idea to shoot a movie called "Wetback Mountain", a heart-warming film about the struggles a family of illegal immigrants must face in order to gain U.S. citizenship. After that, I'm planning to make a motion picture documenting the life of "Pepper" (if you live or have ever lived in Victoria you know who I'm talking about) who will be played by Morgan Freeman.

Television:

I really don't watch that much TV. I'm totally supportive of all my Texas sports teams and it really gets under my skin when someone lives in Texas and doesn't support out teams! Hook em'! I've recently become addicted to Guiding Light, which is probably the best soap opera ever made... oh, and since I moved to Austin I've been all about the OC!

Books:

The Bible and anything they make you read at school. One of the greatest books ever written is "Crossfire: The Plot that Killed Kennedy." It discusses all of the conspiracy behind the Kennedy assasination; it gets really deep. I'm also reading a book called "The Complete Worship Leader", and I think it's going to take me to the next level of worship - on and off the stage. I happen to enjoy reading quite a bit, though I don't have very much time for it. I subscribe to Guitar Player magazine which is a pretty coll mag to flip through if you're looking for new products or want some cool playing tips. I also have some music theory books and sheets that I study when I can find the time...

Heroes:

First of all, God is always gonna be my "Superhero". He's blessed me with the talent of music which I can never be thankful enough for. For his mad skills on the guitar, I would have to say Eddie Van Halen. He's one of the main reasons I practice as hard as I do. He's my inspiration. Not only do I hope to be as good as him someday, but I push myself to be better than anyone who has ever lived. Finally, all of the pastors up at my church (you know who you are) who are just awesome and live a life that I can one day hope to follow.
