Borrowing the name from one of the only Throbbing Gristle songs "melodic" enough to be fit for public consumption, the purpose of AB/7A is to deconstruct popular song form, isolate small chunks then reconstruct those small chunks into a song by repeating them ad nauseum (unless otherwise noted).
Imagine a familiar song being played at an extremely loud volume several thousand feet away or possibly going by in the trunk of an automobile with a rear quarter panel shaking subwoofer. This is an attempt to capture the musical hook of the familiar and distort it into new musical ground. The following tracks are merely sketches for a full-length album in the works due out later this year.
