Hugh Flynt born Jamie Mahoney in New York, New York has been a creator since birth. A resident of Strong Island, New York, home to such rap greats as, De la Soul, Rakim, Busta Rhymes, EPMD, Method Man, MF DOOM, Prodigy, Chuck D, and countless others, Mahoney was quick to pick up on the culture that was Hip Hop. At age 12 he began acting, and by the time he was 13 he was in 2 running commercials (Mercedez Benz & Nike), 2 Feature Films(Daredevil & Taxi), and an independent film named Skips as the principle role of Jose. When Mahoney was 15, he quit acting because of the unfufillment he was getting with the artform. Mahoney, product of divorced parents and being heaviely bullied, expressed his anger through rhyme. Listening to the Slim Shady Lp, and Ready to Die everyday of his freshman year of high school, he began to mimick the styles of Biggie and Eminem, to create his sound that resulted in the creation of his alter Ego, Hugh Flynt. Hugh coming from Hugh Hefner, and Flynt coming from Larry Flynt, he dreamed of the lifestyle of one day being a playboy of off rhyming. He had an instant nack for it , and often was praised by his classmates for his showmanship and agreesive rhyme style that could be heard in the ciphers outside of Baldwin Senior High School. At 16, Flynt was making neighborhood hits with his cousin Nick Knoc on the beats, and destroying local mixtapes with qoutable and notable rhymes. He linked up with Iluminati, a group of the best emcees from Baldwin, and started making more and more professional recordings. Flynt, Now 18 and a college student, has evovled from the cipher rhymes, and the dreams of becoming a playboy. He now wears his name like a scar, as he strives for more creative, and innovative musical endeavours. Hugh Flynt is ready to invite you to his world.
