RIVERSIDE

RIVERSIDE est un groupe Ardennais aux influences diverses. Le groupe,formé depuis 2003,se compose de Tom (Guitar/Vocal),Yohan (Drums/Vocal) et Thierry (Bass). En 2004,un an aprés sa formation,Riverside enregistre son premier album intitulé "GAME OVER" qui propose des titres aux sonoritées Pop/Grunge comme Dreamland,Slave et Fuck. Le trio Ardennais fit plusieurs interviews sur des radios locales (Europe2/Radio bouton). Après quelques années,le groupe revient sur scène avec un style radicalement différent,fini le son Pop,place aux riffs lourds et puissants du Grunge et du Metal. C'est decidé,Riverside ne fait plus dans la dentelle!!!! En 2008 le groupe apparait sur la compile WE WERE BORN TO DESTROY, avec le morceaux "Défaire" où pas moins de 40 groupes internationaux se sont donnés rendez-vous en hommage à WITNESS (groupe Grunge francais des années 90). 2009 marque le tournant du trio Ardennais avec la sortie du second opus "BURNING". Plus sombre et plus rageur,Riverside nous propose des titres accrocheurs comme Burning,Inside,Paper Beer et Sckizophrenia,ainsi qu'une version de Game Over reboostées en guise de clin d'oeil au premier album. A ce jour d'autres projets pour Riverside sont en cours (compilation,concerts a l'etranger,etc...), En leurs souhaitant que cette belle aventure continue!!!
RIVERSIDE is a french rock band from the Ardennes. The band was formed in 2003 with Tom (guitar/vocals), Yohan (drums/vocals) and Thierry (bass). In 2004, just one year after its formation, Riverside recorded its first album called "GAME OVER" which contains pop/grunge songs such as “Dreamland”, “Slave” or “Fuck”. The band answered several interviews on local radios (Europe 2 / Radio Bouton). After several years and no less than 60 concerts, the band comes back with a totally different style. Enough with that pop sound, a more heavy and brutal metal/grunge style conquered the band. In 2008, the band appears on the « WE WERE BORN TO DESTROY » compilation with the song "Défaire" and on which no less than 40 bands from all other the world covered songs from the french grunge band from the ‘90s WITNESS. 2009 will see the new album of the band "BURNING". More dark, more angry, Riverside plays really catchy songs like “Burning”, “Inside”, “Paper Beer” or “Sckizophrenia” and a speedest version of their old song “Game Over”. Now, there are some new projects for Riverside which is recording a song for another compilation and preparing an European tour. Rock on !!!
