Upfull Soundsystem born in Oporto in the heart of a young family: Sista Irie, Cupido and I-ara. Strongly influenced by their travels, African Music and Dance, surfing and living, this Soundsystem is creative, dynamic and powerful.
Cupido was one of the first Reggae selectas in the city, soon he developed is performance skills inside a great variety of sounds that goes from the pure Roots to the old skool Dancehall- that is one of the specialities of this soundsystem, as they have a great collection of vynil from the 60..s to the 80..s most pure rub-a-dub.
Sista Irie has a wide curriculum on Tradicional West African Dance, she created her own dance style mixing tribal dance with Jamaican moves and rythms. She started as a dancer, opening concerts as The Jamaican all Stars, The Wailers, Zion Train, Mad Professor...
She was the founder of the first female soundsystem in Portugal- Soundsista..s.
Princess I-ara (six years old) participates in studio, singing and toasting and a lot of joy.
They lived in Bristol, U.K. where they were blessed and inspired by the Jamaican artists and the Rasta comunity.
Recently with one more member- Skata Man. This brother, mixer and producer gave another dynamic to the group as now Sista Irie does toasting and singing and Skata Man and Cupido are in charge of the system.
They had the priviledge to open concerts of great Reggae artists as: Israel Vibration, Horace Andy, Zion Train, Mad Professor, Kussondulola, Jahcoustix...
And Venues as: Festival Vilar de Mouros (35 anos), Casa da Música, Hard Club, Maus hábitos, Industria, Swing...
They..re also a reference on the Surf Championships and on the Snowboard Portugal Showrooms.
