ESCAPE THE SQUARE [ BOOK US! ]

About Me

Escape the Square hails from Hamilton, Ontario Canada and is made up of five gents looking to express themselves in a unique way. Escape The Square was founded in early 2007 by Adam Gurman [Guitar] and Jeff Luckel [Synth/Vocalist], Escape The Square later recruited Jason Luckel [Bass/Effects] Kevin Mulhall [Drums] and discovered their golden gem when they brought in Joseph McConville [Guitar/Vocals].
The sound is quite unique with thundering double-bass and dynamic bass work, with technical and evil sounding guitar riffs that are over looped with sweeps and guitar tricks, Combined with vicious and deep death metal screams all rolled up with a hit of speed.
Escape The Square recorded their first EP back in 2007 with Brodie Dawson at Morning Mist Productions. Their EP included the two tracks Bat Country and Destroyer. Escape the Square has played several shows around Hamilton and the surrounding area.
Escape The Square has just finished recording their highly awaited 5 track EP entitled "Claustrophobic" with Morning Mist Productions. Claustrophobic will be available to the public on October 31st 2008. Track listing consist of Palace in the Lost Cities Skies, The Fuck-Off Hotel, Destroyer, Bat Country and River of Teeth.
With the coming of their new release "Claustrophobic", Escape the Square decided it was time for a change. They decided to replace their drummer. Escape the Square would like to welcome the newest member of the family.. introducing the beat blasting master also known as Jiggs as our new drummer. Jiggs brings the right mix into the group with the commitment and dedication Escape the Square was searching for.
