The Name "Master Wu" originated from a historical figure who was the pioneer of a certain generation's cultural revolution in China. This person was known for his outspoken demeanor in voicing the sad and depressing living conditions of that period. Sad and despressing as well, both he and his generation just mysteriously vanished into dark abyss of history only to be forgotten.
In expressing its musicality, Master Wu conveys and portrays social, political, and psychological themes of society. We are a band with a distinct sound; we cry and shout for the voiceless people.
