Lortbäckerz is a Swedish folkmusic group. Named after a muddy creek that runs through their hometown of Bollnäs, the group formed in 1997. Ten years, one album and well over a hundred gigs later, they are now known as one of the greatest young folkmusic bands in Sweden. Lortbäckerz have performed at numerous festivals in Sweden, as well as festivals in Norway and Germany. Their music is characterized by its energy, the groove and the strong roots in the Swedish tradition.
