Starting the journey in 1963, Ellaways now have two major music stores in Queensland and we retail and service musical instruments; PA's, Guitars, Drums, Pianos, Orchestral, Home recording, Keyboards (all types) and Print Music.
We are located at 315 - 337 Gympie Rd, Kedron and our new super store at 39 - 45 Compton Rd, Underwood.
We do more than just "sell equipment". We have created new opportunities for people of all ages to engage in active music making. We run annual events, like Drummer Challenge, Brisbane's Schools Band Festival, Casio Challenge, Ellaways Music Live - Weekend Warriors (4 times a year)along with monthly jam sessions and theme and tribute shows. We now have new initiatives, some in partnership, like Boardroom Blitz, Brizband School Challenge, Come Together, creACTiVE and BASS ONE. We want YOU to get involved with us to explore music making as a life long experience.
We have singer-songwriting opportunities and band performances along with ongoing workshops and clinics.
