In 2003 Dj rewind, who was already prolific in beat making and mixing, met up with richard heat from pomona through another dj. They started exchanging ideas on the art of beatmaking and became good friends as time passed. Richard Heat excelled in making solo tracks but when rewind and Heat came together in the studio something new and epic was born. Now in 2007, rewind and Heat have a production company that is working with big name artists such as Miss Amina James, Young Truth, and many others.
