I'm a lover of LIFE!
I'm re-inventing myself... again! I've finished classes at the Institute of Massage Therapies I've passed my NCBTMB National Certification Exam .
I just received my License from the Virginia Board of Nursing (VA Dept of Health Professionals) to practice as a Certified Massage Therapist in the State of Virginia. I can now put NCTMB (Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork) behind my name!!
... and I'm having the time of my life. This is the BEST thing I've ever done for myself. I found a profession that makes me want to work, makes me feel good physically and emotionally and it HELPS people! What more can there be??
Anyone interested in a massage?? It does the body good!
I'm also a Motorcycle Safety Instructor for Motorcycle Safety Center of VA since early 2001. That too is an awesome job and my Fwed is wonderful to work with/for and he's my Buddy! And I've been a Customer Service Agent for Hanover County, VA since I was 19 years old! Wow, I can retire in less than 5 years... can you believe that?
