I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm quiet, artistic( though I seem to have a serious love-hate relationship with most of my creations. Ironic considering most of the time I am filling in loneliness by making people I can relate to--unlike most real ones), fond of animals, less so of humans except for very occasionally.

I am deeply interested in historical architecture and make a regular hobby of researching the history of local buildings( which often also includes some interesting snapshots into the lives of those who lived in them). I am considering writing a book on this topic, but am unsure about probable interest, especially being of a mostly non-verbal personality type. I do post occasional snippets about it in my blog here

I'm also considering putting these skills to use as a sort of freelance researcher, if there is such a thing, since it's something I find fascinating and others often puzzlingly describe as tedious. If you are interested in hiring me for this purpose, let me know. I live conveniently close to the LDS Genealogy Library, besides knowing my way fairly well around the State Archives and Historical Society.

If I don't know you already, please send me a message explaining your interest in me before friending, otherwise I probably won't approve your request.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Kindred spirits of various sorts, but don't be hitting on me unless you know me quite well, I do not take to such things and will be very irate.

Faux-Victorian Chest of Drawers, Free to good home
