Thorough Thursday is an Urban Classic. It is Delaware's PREMIERE Showcase event featuring an Open Mic that is inclusive to all genres of Music. Born February 15, 2007 in the second floor lounge of Cafe Caribe in, Wilmington, DE, Thorough Thursday raised talent from the ground floor with two turntables, a broken mic, producers live with their Mpc's and a freestyle cipher that has never ended.
Thorough was going through growing pains..."Is this a poetry event or is this a hip hop event?"...then Cafe Caribe closed...It was like eminant domain, everybody was trying to put a chain on the brand, and now venue. That was Then...Now, Thorough is making her Sophomore debut JULY 3, 2008, with her partner THE GRAND. Sponsored by GUERRILLA REPUBLIK and PHILLY WORD LIVE she is the showcase for the people and by the people.
