Scott Colomby Acting Workshop

About Me

Scott Colomby has been a working actor since he was a teen. His most well-known roles include: Tony D'Annunzio in Caddyshack; Brian Scwartz AKA "jew boy" in all three of the original teen comedy classics...Porky's; One Day at a Time; Syzneck; and many many others. His mother is a former agent and his father a producer, and Michael Keaton's manager for many years. Both bring a lot of active support to our showcases. Scott is also a dedicated stage and Shakespearean actor.
Scott brings to class his life experience as well as training passed on to him from such legendary teachers as: Lee Strasberg, Peggy Feurry, Kenneth McMillan, John Lehne.
Scott's classes are very unique, and auditing is free. The theatre we work out of is located in West Hollywood.
The class is comprised of scene study work, as well as involving all students (if they desire...and they DO!) in showcases or full length plays to be able to perform in a theatre with a wonderful audience (and a lot of industry) following. There is no additional charge to Scott for showcases, as in so many other classes. We simply give up the night of our class in lieu of showcases. We've had very positive responses and many actors have found managers, agents, and work from these!
Most of all....You will truly learn to ACT. If you are interested in a free audit class....you WILL be able to work, you will not be just an observer. (Unless you so choose!) To schedule a free audit, please contact Scott at [email protected].

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

actors, industry, casting directors, agents, people with a love for the theatre. We will keep our showcase schedule posted. If not an actor or industry yourself, you are still able to attend our showcases, provided there is enough room on the reservation list. Number for reservations will be posted when the next date is selected. We just finished a showcase in April...so we are now putting together new material for the next. So...if you want to perform SOON...now is a very good time to check out our wonderful class and its' nurturing and family-like atmosphere. A WONDERFUL place for people new to LA who don't know many people here yet. Sister Sledge best describes our theatre class in a most apropo way. WE ARE FAMILY! We'd love to meet you and have you join us!
