[email protected] was brought to Animal Control after being hit by a car. She had a broken pelvis but that has healed. She was adopted to a wonderful home, but won't leave the livestock alone so she is back at the shelter. Sasha has the most incredible blue eyes and she is the sweetest girl in the world as long as you aren't a sheep.Please consider helping Sasha at the Chattooga County in Summerville, GA. Date: May 29, 2007 5:29 PMFrom: DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE Date: 29/05/2007Sampson A.K.A Macho has gained 5 lbs. We put him on the Wellness plan at Banfeild. He got all his shot's. Me and Kim split $9 a month for 12 months. When Sampson got over his ear infection, Kennel Couph and Tumors I went and got him a Bone from the local Butcher. Kim noticed a couple of his teeth were chipped and on the floor. She took it away and called Banfeild. When she took him in the Vet said his teeth were brittle and bad from Malnutrition. When We rescued him there was no back ground. The first and second Vet Visit established a app. age around 8 years old. I know he still has the scares on his neck and around the tips of the inside of his ears. The ears looks like maybe fly bites. Im thinking he may have been a yard dog all of his life? Poor guys been through alot. So we didnt get anymore bones and his toys were soft. Kim said he was having some behaviors through out his recovery and one of the most recent ones is digging and she caught him eating rocks. Now his tooth broke down to the root Kim says. I went there tonight to see and it's gonna need medical attention. I know with teeth it can get costly. Im asking for help to keep Macho going. His Herbs are over $100 a month alone. Me and Kim split his medical bills at Banfield and she's calling tomorrow to get him pain medication and to get him in to get a treatment plan and cost. I'll list vet bills ect.. through blogs. When we got him on the wellness plan they were thoughough on the examination because the last they knew he had a fatal tumor so they didnt think he would be well enough to be on a Wellness plan. The girls were happy to see him and recovering this time. The Dr. couldnt believe that the Tumor shrank. Kim was giving him Tumor shrinking Herbs and animal Maintanace and some others to recover but they did say his teeth looked bad and we may have a problem in the future and that it's from Years of Malnutrition. If I could get my hands on his old owners *augh* Macho has a fighting spirit and loves his new family. Lets keep him going. Can you help? Im opening up his Paypal Recovery Fund. We need your help. George was not able to keep the dog and asked the local animal shelter to take her. A few days later, he called the shelter to check on her, and learned she had not been adopted. “I found out she had already been sedated to be euthanized,†George says. He checked with Best Friends, and Sahara was in luck: there was an opening. Within a heartbeat of dying, Sahara was plucked from the euthanasia table and brought to Best Friends Dogtown. I was diagnosed w/ MS several years ago and so far I've been pretty lucky with keeping it in remission. My luck ran out last week when I suffereda severe case of fatigue. This in turn caused my symptoms to flare up. The entire right side of my body is numb (head to toe). Basically I'm carrying around half my weight. I've been put on strict doctors orders to rest.I live alone so there is no one here to help with my 3 dogs. My Mom is taking one of my dogs, however there is no one to take Pearl. I'll have to board her which I hate to do. She is so full of life and energy that I hate to have her confined. I've been told that my busy life is part of the reason I'm in the condition that I'm in. I have to make changes. Fostering unfortunately has to be one of the things to eliminate. The medication I was put on is not working has fast as it should. Since I'm right handed, just typing this email has taken longer than I can count. Typing with just my left hand has been very frustrating. Try brushing your teeth withonly your left hand, not fun!.
