"The Blush Years is a concept album about the love of making songs, 1 take songs.
It is an album about emotions, stories, life, simple things, time, relationships.
All tracks were written and produced by Tony Bravo.
The only effects were natural and done in one take.
The record was recorded in a living room setting and is meant to be from the artists most spontaneous raw lyrical place thus the choice of recording and keeping the songs only once. "

I grew up in New York through my first 16 years of life. I did a lot of 'stuff' there and was depressed mostly because of my sister's rare condition and illness. Always writing and painting, I found solace in the guitar despite the reality that i didn't quite know what the hell i was doing. Practically self taught with a few bass lessons here and there... I always just wanted to express myself like I had done with the paintings and writings I had always created. I moved down to Atlanta in 99' when i was 16/17 and started playing bass primarily in a band called 'Spectrum'. Disappointed by the lack of originality by some of the members I became a loner and started to record almost constantly on a Boss 4-track emulating surf-rock and 70's blues figures. I did this in my bedroom while I was like 20 and continued till i decided to go back to school. @ 23 I decided to go to art school and concentrated on video, performance art and painting mostly and also finding out that digital art wasn't a passionate enough medium for me. Now, I am 26 and I find myself interested in No Wave sounds and folk-inspired arrangements... I hope to continue creating as much as possible.
